The problem

The government's blue team had never been tested against a realistic Advanced Persistent Threat (APT). Their readiness to defend against sophisticated attacks—including those using Cobalt Strike, Empire, and custom malware—remained unproven.

What we did

We ran an unannounced stealth attack simulation using Cobalt Strike, Empire, and custom malware. The exercise tested how well the internal team detected and responded to a covert intrusion.

Results

• Reduced detection and response time for the internal team.
